Changes in detail

Results that change when a saved project is solved again:

  • A catalogue designation with suffixes is its base preset wherever a designation is looked up: 6207-2RS1/C3, 6207 2Z, NU 210 ECP, 22208 E/C3 (seals and shields, clearance groups, cages, tolerance classes, the E design of roller bearings; none changes the rated geometry). A saved bearing so designated now has its base preset's bore for the seat check, its mass in the parts list and counts as the preset's geometry, and a designation of another preset with suffixes is refused as that preset's name is (it would keep the old geometry). A clearance group (C2, CN, C3, C4, C5) sets radialClearance to the group's mid value of ISO 5753-1:2009 (Tables 1, 2, 4 and 8) unless one is entered (radialClearanceEntered, set by a patch that gives radialClearance; without it, as in a file from before 0.3.0, a clearance counts as automatic only for a preset's designation, its geometry and exactly the clearance they give, and any other as entered, recorded so on its next edit), on every path (add, update, replace, a design search's preset choice, which keeps its suffix, and the catalogue import; without a group, or with CN, the preset's own clearance, whatever the geometry); a designation of another preset now needs the bearing's whole geometry (pitchDiameter, elementDiameter and elementCount) in addBearing's patch as in updateBearing's, where one geometry key used to be enough; an imported row whose designation reads as a preset of another size is refused; contact seals' friction is not applied; a part not understood is a warning at bearings.<id>.designation.
  • The catalogue series' unmounted radial clearance is the middle of ISO 5753-1:2009's normal group, checked against the standard: the 60, 62 and 63 series at bore code 00 (10 mm) now 7.5 µm (was 10.5), the NU 2 and NU 3 series up to 20 mm 32.5 µm (was 20 to 27.5) and the 222 series by Table 8 (22210: 45 µm, was 37.5; 22220: 80 µm, was 70); the common presets (6207, NU 207, 22208, …) keep their own.
  • The maker's ratings as given: dynamicLoadRating (C) and staticLoadRating (C0), beside fatigueLoadLimit (Pu), replace the ratings from the internal geometry. A catalogue import now sets all three from its row, so a newly imported bearing is rated with the catalogue's C0 (before, ISO 76's from the fitted geometry, 7–14 % above the datasheet's in the pilot) and Pu; bearings imported before keep their computed ratings until the fields are given. With C0 given, s0 from the contact stress is scaled by C0 given / C0 computed.

Changes for agents (--json, MCP), all additive: bearing fields dynamicLoadRating, staticLoadRating and radialClearanceEntered; the command setBearingOilGrade {id, grade, viscosityIndex} (axm bearing oil); bearing reports add designation (how a designation with suffixes was read) and summary.given (fields, computedDynamicRating, computedStaticRating, computedFatigueLoadLimit); detail.ratings adds computedDynamic, computedStatic, computedFatigue. Changed messages: the outcome of addBearing, replaceBearingPreset and importBearings, updateBearing marking the estimate exact, the estimated-geometry warning and its hint. axm solve's text adds designation: and as given: lines.
